With over 30 years’ experience in the corporate world, I have extensive and practical knowledge in many business areas. Much of my experience has been gained in the Healthcare industry, therefore I consider myself highly skilled in this sector.

I have significant experience in developing and embedding a strategic vision, growing businesses and creating effective and efficient teams.

My business experience is based on my strong analytical and management skills which has led to an impressive track record in growing businesses and improving business effectiveness as well as creating sales teams that are at the top of their game. I am now using this knowledge to help a variety of companies via Orbit21.

Facilitating people to be the ‘best they can be’ is one of my fundamental passions and everything I have done has been possible because I believe I really understand people. I understand the importance of culture within a team and how small behavioural changes can make a big impact on the motivation of large and small teams alike. I strive to ensure this consistently shines through in all aspects of the work I undertake and whilst my business results have been impressive, I am most proud of the work I have undertaken in this area.

As a key figure in Philips Healthcare for many years (from 2007 until 2019) I held a number of senior management positions and directorships spanning the functions of business management, service delivery and sales. All of these roles were challenging in their own right; but with a challenge comes an opportunity to learn and to grow and an opportunity to develop new skill…all of which I thrive on!

 

Away from work I love living life to the full! I am happily married and live in Sussex within walking distance of both the sea and the South Downs. I have four amazing children between the ages of 20 and eight…and Buddy, a very lively working Cocker Spaniel! I enjoy running, anything in the water, skiing and DIY (lucky really, as we bought a house that needed a significant renovation!) We all love travelling, being outside and generally enjoying life!
