At Fujifilm we were very interested in having an external consultancy business review a potential business opportunity. We were reticent to use one of the big consulting houses as, whilst they may have a lot of resource and a proven approach to this type of study, we felt they may lack real market insights. As such their output was at risk of making generalisations and lacking the real information we were seeking.

Using Orbit21 gave us the best of both worlds; the approach was structured, well thought through and well documented, but the insights provided were rich and based on Ian’s thorough understanding of the market, its dynamics and the relative strengths of different strategic approaches.

The session where Ian presented his report to the Fujifilm UK Leadership Team was particularly useful as the ensuing discussion provided additional colour to the report and helped shape our decisions.

Overall, the experience was incredibly positive and worthwhile, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Orbit21 again or indeed to recommend them to others.
